7 signs your job interview went well

The die is cast! You’ve followed all the tips for a successful job interview. Now it’s time to assess your performance and find out what impression you made on the recruiter. Here are a few ways to find out if you’ve made the cut.

1. THE RECRUITER ANALYZED AND COMPARED YOUR EXPERIENCE

If the recruiter found your application interesting, it’s because they studied it carefully beforehand. They might have told you that your qualifications are similar to those required of the candidate for the position to give you confidence and try to win you over. They might also have pointed out that your past duties are similar to those of the job to be filled.

2. THE RECRUTEUR USED YOUR GIVEN NAME MULTIPLE TIMES

It’s a proven fact that one way to quickly make a connection with someone you’ve just met is to call them by their first name. If the recruiter does this, it may be to establish a bond of trust with you!

3. THE RECRUTEUR ASKED YOU PERSONAL QUESTIONS

If the recruiter asked you what your hobbies or personal values are, they might have been trying to find out how well you get along with other team members. If they found that your professional qualities already match the profile they are seeking, they will want to know whether you’ll be a good fit with your new colleagues.

4. THE INTERVIEW LASTED LONGER THAN EXPECTED

If the interview lasted longer than expected and the recruiter was already telling you about upcoming meetings and asking you about your availability, you’re on the right track! If the recruiter took more time than expected to question you and try to get to know you, they might seriously be considering offering you the position.

5. YOU WERE INTRODUCED TO OTHER EMPLOYEES

Did the recruiter introduce you to various company employees at the end of your interview and show you around the premises? That’s an excellent sign! If they did this, it’s because they have a good feeling and are already trying to put you at ease.

6. THE INTERVIEW FELT MORE LIKE A CONVERSATION

If the interview felt more like a conversation than a job interview, that’s a good thing! If you were relaxed and your interviewer was in the same frame of mind, you probably managed to project a positive image.

7. YOU HAVE A GOOD FEELING

If you left the interview feeling like you did well, you probably did! If you felt good vibes and got on well with the recruiter, you may be in for some good news very soon!
